If world class fishing is what you are after, the South Fork of the Snake River runs right through Swan Valley. This water is home to the native Yellowstone Cutthroat trout.  If you have never caught one of these fish, their beauty is second to none.  A short distance away are the Teton River, the Salt River, the Grey’s River, and some great small stream fishing that we will let you discover on your own.

Much of the other land that is available is on or near the famous Henry’s Fork River.  Most of the land that is here also has dramatic views of the Grand Teton Mountains at a fraction of the price of nearby areas. These properties are just a short drive away from the SW entrance to Yellowstone National Park, and other near by waters include the Madison, the Gibbon, the Firehole, the Falls River, as well as many more.

 If snow skiing is for you, Grand Targhee is within 45 minutes of most properties, and Jackson Hole is just over the hill from there.  You will find Big Sky ski area less than 2 hours away, and Sun Valley about 3 hours away.  Since Grand Targhee is a well kept secret, we will let you know that is always listed as one of the top 3 resorts in the country with regards to the quality of powder snow and annual snow fall.  You will find terrain for all levels of skiers. 

 For the snow mobile enthusiasts, both Island Park and West Yellowstone are just a short drive (or ride) away.  These two areas are the #1 and 2 snow mobiling areas in the country, and for good reason. 

 If you are curious about who will be your neighbors, you will find deer, elk moose, bald eagles, beaver, grouse, brown trout, Yellowstone cutthroat trout, rainbows, and much, much more.
